Screaming I Love You

No matter how loudly I scream your name,
You don't listen.
No matter how hard I pull on your arm,
You don't turn around.
Even when I cry,
You don't look at me.
Even when I laugh,
You don't smile at me.

I chase after you,
But you run away.
I pull you into my embrace,
But you pull out a gun.
I cry out for the sound of your voice,
But you curse my name.

I want to hold you.
I want to kiss you.
I want to have you.

So I'll scream,
until you look at me.
So I'll yell,
until your fingers entwine with mine.
So I'll shout,
until you silence me with your kiss.

I'll scream your name so you won't forget me.
Until my voice grows hoarse,
and until my throat bleeds.
Until I can no longer speak, I will yell out these words.
"I love you!"
